THE BEST BLUES OF GARY MOOREMonday, January 31, 2005
This CD is breathtaking, beautiful; a living testament to Gary Moore virtuosity. All 13 track recorded live brings you to the forefront of the audience, and Moore guitar just screams out lighting-fast notes that sends chills through your spine
"Story of the Blues," "Still got the Blues,"Parissienne Walkways," and "Jumpin' at Shadows," are mere four soothing ballad artpieces enough to make you play the CD again. If you've never listened to Gary Moore, get this CD and you'll know why Moore deserves his place alongside SRV, Hendrix, and Clapton in the Pantheon of Blues Rock

IMPRESSIVE!!Saturday, November 06, 2004
This guy can rock. There are some great guitarists out there that never get the recognition they deserve......to me, this guy is in that category. Great tone on his guitar, especially for a live performance. Some very fast but clean licks. Check it out.

Blues/Rock guitar at its best.Tuesday, October 05, 2004
Gary Moore is one of the most underappreciated, diverse guiter players in the World. His voice is suited for this mix of blues/rock and his guiter work is passionate, energetic and dynamic. Gary's at his best on this album. A must have CD for any blues/rock fan. His guitar screams with a passion, a perfection that only a few players can begin to embrace. From beginning to end this CD oozes energy from every ounce of Moore's soul. A true definitive album for this artist. If you like SRV I don't think you'll be disappointed here. Listen to this album and you will understand why some [myself included] put Moore in the same class as Page,SRV,Clapton,Beck and Hendrix.
Great BluesSunday, May 25, 2003
Gary Moore plays the blues wonderfully. I can't think of a single bad song on this CD. My particular favorites are Still Got The Blues for You and Parisienne Walkways. It's perfect if you like it mellow or fast. Blues for Greeny and After Hours are also definitely great CD's and have a lot of songs that this CD came from. You should get as many Gary Moore albums as possible. People say his voice isn't exactly great, but those are really hard songs to sing and I really don't think it's that bad to begin with. Great CD, buy it.

Best Blues!!Thursday, May 08, 2003
I can't believe someone said Gary can't sing. I was first attracted to this album three years ago after hearing "Still Got The Blues" on the radio. I was completely taken by both his guitar and his expressive and emotional singing voice. After three years, I still almost tear up listening to him. The song "Still got the blues" alone is worth the price of this CD. Throw in "Story of the blues" and "Separate Ways" and you have a blues classic CD. I love when a really talented guitarist can express strong emotion without words. I like it even better when they have the ability to express the same emotion in their singing. Gary Moore is a master of all that; better than anyone I have ever heard. Listen carefully to any of the songs I mentioned above, and I defy you to say he doesn't express the emotion of the blues better than anyone.
